A lot of people all over the country suffer from eye at one point or another. During the summer when the weather is extremely hot and humid, sore eyes and eye are common. For instance, if your are caused by too much exposure to the sun and dust, it would be a good idea for you to limit your outdoor activities during the day. According to experts, dry eyes may aggravate the effects of eye and could cause some complications. To make sure that your eyes have enough moisture in it, use eye drops. Keep the eye drops refrigerated to make its application more soothing. However, do not put your eye drops in a freezer where its temperature can become overly cold. Too cold eye drops are not really good for your eyes. If your eyes are swollen, try to apply cold compress to ease the swelling. Use a sterile pad or cloth when applying cold compress and avoid touching your eyes with your hands. Note that your hands could contain bacteria that can cause further irritation. Do not apply medicine or any topical treatment on your eyes without your doctor’s knowledge. Always bear in mind that you are very sensitive and it can be easily damaged with wrong treatment. If you feel discomforts in your eyes, apply first aid such as a cold compress and your regular eye drops and then go see your doctor immediately.
